Short version: Use VibeLint only on code you own or have permission to scan. Don't use it to attack systems. Pay your subscription. We're not liable for security issues the tool misses.
By creating an account or using VibeLint ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using VibeLint on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
VibeLint is a security scanning tool designed to detect vulnerabilities and security issues in software projects, particularly those developed with AI assistance ("vibe-coded" projects). The Service includes:
To use VibeLint you must create an account. You are responsible for:
Each license key is for use by a single user. Sharing a license key with multiple users is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination without refund.
VibeLint may only be used to scan code and systems that you own or have explicit written permission to test.
You must not use VibeLint to:
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account termination, reporting to law enforcement, and civil or criminal liability. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
VibeLint paid plans include Pro and Max. Current pricing is shown on the Plans page. Pricing may change with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers. If a lifetime Pro offer is available, it is a one-time purchase for Pro access only and does not include Max.
Depending on the plan you choose, subscriptions renew monthly or annually on the date you first subscribed. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you authorize Dodo Payments to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. A lifetime Pro purchase, if offered, is charged once and does not renew.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain paid-plan access until then. After cancellation, your account returns to Free limits and paid package access may stop functioning. Lifetime Pro purchases do not renew and are not downgraded by subscription cancellation.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your first payment, contact us at hi@vibelint.dev for a full refund. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
If a payment fails, we will retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected, your account will be downgraded to the free plan and your license key will be revoked. If a lifetime Pro payment fails before completion, no lifetime Pro entitlement is granted.
Participation in the VibeLint Affiliate Program is governed by the separately versioned Affiliate Program Agreement shown during affiliate onboarding. That agreement controls attribution, eligibility, rates, disclosure duties, holds, refunds, disputes, negative balances, tax verification, payout thresholds, suspension, termination, and final settlement. Approval alone does not activate a referral link; the current agreement and a payout email must be verified.
VibeLint is a security assistance tool, not a guarantee of security.
The Service is designed to help identify common security issues in code. However:
You are solely responsible for the security of your applications and systems.
VibeLint Free is a no-cost account plan. The VibeLint package is proprietary software. All rights, title, and interest in the proprietary VibeLint package — including all intellectual property rights — are owned by the Operator. Your subscription or one-time lifetime Pro purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the paid VibeLint features included in your plan.
You retain full ownership of all code you scan with VibeLint. We do not claim any rights over your source code. We do not access, read, transmit, or store your source code (see our Privacy Policy).
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VIBELINT OR ITS OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us at hi@vibelint.dev.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to binding arbitration before pursuing litigation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
